Just out of curiosity: Have you read any posts about how Block rates are affected by collection frequency? In a nutshell: If you collect more frequently, you get less per collection, but more overall.

For instance, if I collect 10 times a day, I'll have a 10% chance per collection of getting a special item. Or roughly 1 per day.*

If I collect once a day, I'll have a 50% chance of getting that same special item. Or roughly 1/2 per day.*

All of the drop rates work on a sliding scale like this. So if it seems like you're not getting much, collect less maybe? You'd get less, but you might be happier because you see more items on average per collection.

* Numbers were pulled from my ass and are only for demonstration purposes. But the concept is sound, and the curve is about as steep as mentioned.

2 Energy shots isn't that bad for a collection, considering you also got $27,600 and a few resources. But I'll admit that's not great.

Block combat is in the works. It will include limitations, but I don't think we're going to go into much detail on that yet.

But, the most time-consuming aspect of Block combat so far is the huge obstacle of getting it to work on desktop and mobile. This is the main reason it's taking so long to make any headway in that department.

Raiding cells were not tied to this. That was part of a combat revamp that vintral's been dreaming about for a while. The main goal of that was to add variety and remove "one-hit wonder" type fights.

I'm glad you decided to put on your big boy pants and take the Block discussion beyond "this is shit".

We have data to back up what users are getting, how much it is compared to other actions, and how much effort and resources goes into maintaining the Block vs how much you get out of it. I will admit it's not easy, and it can be expensive or time-consuming. But once you get over that hump, you can get a lot out of it.

Feel free to post what you're getting out of the Block, how often you're collecting, etc. Then propose an ideal number of items, and detail why. Without any of this, honestly (and I don't mean this offensively) all I hear is, "Give me more free shit".

There's a thing called balance. There's obviously no reason to go into detail though.

I made the mistake of thinking there was a problem that needed to be resolved, but all I hear is, "Give us more free shit."

Are you comparing the drop rates to how they were when the Block first debuted? Because those rates were horribly, horribly broken.

It was a huge mistake on our part to release the Block in that condition, and another mistake to let it go for as long as we did.

You don't see anything wrong with making $800 million a night for doing absolutely nothing?

Block drops might be modified in the future if we add more building types. But, for now, based on the numbers we see, people are getting a good deal of items from the block. Just don't go into it expecting 100+ free items a day and you'll be fine.

I get it, you two are fighting. But stop threadshitting. Seriously.

Anyway, I'm not a fan of the idea. There are the occasional, obsessed jackasses, and it's unfortunate. But you'd likely see this dude's asshattery pop up in other players' quotes anyway, which would make such a system less-than-effective even after all of the effort of implementing a simple forum blocking feature.

you can stack up to 7 which i have done countless times
I think he's giving you good advice with the lottery since when taking your second shot there is a 5% chance to overdose
7% for the 3rd
14% for the 4th
26% for the 5th
46% for the 6th
77% for the 7th
100% chance of OD on the 8th

It took about 14 times to get to 7 without od'ing sometimes it's 1 sometimes it's 60

You need 4 for what you consider adequate training. The game does not define what adequate training is, nor does the game play favorites when it comes to chance/luck.

My advice: don't play the lottery this week. You might get hit by a meteor or something.
